Twin brothers Jonathan and Drew Scott aim to help couples find fixer-uppers and transform them into dream homes. The brothers use state-of-the-art imagery programs to unveil their plans for how the properties will look after the transformation. But the potential home buyers have to take a risk to make the twins' vision come true, and it's up to Jonathan and Drew to convince the couples that purchasing an older home in need of work is the best option. HGTV stars Drew and Jonathan Scott will debut two country music tracks during Property Brothers at Home on the Ranch, the Nov. 25 special that follows the home-renovation duo to Alberta, Canada to renovate their family friends' estate. The brothers ventured to Nashville to co-write "Let the Night Shine In" and "Hold On" with songwriters Victoria Shaw and Chad Carlson, and gave The Hollywood Reporter an exclusive preview of the two songs. "Music has just always been part of our lives, something we're passionate about — we grew up on a ranch where most weekend nights ended in us all around the campfire, with our dad playing guitar," they explained of their new venture in a joint email to THR. "There have been times in our lives where people have told us something just can't be done, and we've become addicted to proving these naysayers wrong." Though neither sibling would praise the other for being a better singer — "Maybe it's the twin thing," they joked — Jonathan did point out, "It's funny though, how Drew keeps forgetting the lyrics.
