Andrew McCarthy

Listen to "Andrew McCarthy Just Fly Away" on Spreaker. “Ever wish that you could just fly away?” When fifteen-year-old Lucy Willows discovers that her father has a child from a brief affair, an eight-year-old boy who lives in her own suburban New Jersey town, she begins to question everything she thinks she knows about her home and her life. How could Lucy’s father have betrayed the entire family? How could her mother forgive him? And why isn’t her sister rocked by the news the way Lucy is? As her father’s secret becomes her own, Lucy grows more and more isolated from her friends, her family, and even her boyfriend, Simon, the one person she thought understood her. When Lucy escapes to Maine, the home of her mysteriously estranged grandfather, she finally begins to get to the bottom of her family’s secrets and lies. Just Fly Away is a debut novel about family secrets, first love, the limits of forgiveness, and finding one’s way in the world from an award-winning writer, actor, and director.

Jack Davenport

Listen to "Jack Davenport From Americana" on Spreaker. Inspired by the paranoid nail-biters of the '70s and set against the foggy skies and twisty streets of San Francisco, AMERICANA is a tense thriller about facing the consequences of an ugly past. Following a festival run that included being nominated to the "New American Cinema Competition" at the 2016 Seattle International Film Festival and capturing the "Best Feature Film Award at the 2016 Lower East Side Film Festival, Zachary Shedd's feature-length debut, called "tantalizing " by the Moveable Fest and "a superbly confident throwback " by Anthem Magazine will be released on March 28, 2017 to DVD ($14.99) and Digital HD courtesy of Candy Factory Films. Two years after alcoholism and depression drove Avery Wells (David Call, Two Gates of Sleep, Tiny Furniture) from his home and career, the San Francisco film editor finds himself back in the city, sobered up and coerced into finishing a cut of a new film - Americana . Avery relents and takes the job due to his connection to the film's star -- his sister Kate (Kelli Garner, Lars and the Real Girl, The Aviator ) -- and the convincing of the film's producer, Calib Andrews (Jack Davenport, Pirates of the Caribbean, Kingsmen: The Secret Service ). Like Avery, the cut is a mess, but the talented editor can salvage it, all while staying clean and reconnecting with his family. Soon, though, he starts receiving menacing calls from a stranger threatening to reveal his darkest secrets - threats impossible to ignore when his sister is murdered. Grief and shame set in as Avery's suspicion of conspiracy grows and he falls off the wagon. Was her death related to the new film? Or was she killed because of mistakes made in the past? As Avery's abusive behavior continues, he dips deeper into paranoia- spurred on by his lawyer Ben (Peter Coyote, Erin Brockovich ) and brother-in-law Josh (Frank Mosley, Upstream Color ) - and only more questions are raised.

Rachel Dolezal

Listen to "Rachel Dolezal In Full Color" on Spreaker. A lot of people have made up their minds about Rachel Doležal. But none of them know her real story. What determines your race? Is it your DNA? The community in which you were raised? The way others see you, or the way you see yourself ? In June 2015, the media “outed” Rachel Doležal as a white woman who had knowingly been “passing” as black. When asked if she were African American during an interview about the hate crimes directed at her and her family, she hesitated before ending the interview and walking away. Some interpreted her reluctance to respond and hasty departure as dishonesty, while others assumed she lacked a reasonable explanation for the almost unprecedented way she identified herself. With In Full Color, Rachel Doležal describes the path that led her from being a child of white evangelical parents to an NAACP chapter president and respected educator and activist who identified as Black. Along the way, she recounts the deep emotional bond she formed with her four adopted Black siblings, the sense of belonging she felt while living in Black communities in Jackson, Mississippi and Washington, D.C., and the experiences she’s had along the way. Her story is nuanced and complex, and in the process of telling it, she forces us to consider race in an entirely new light—not as a biological imperative, but as a function of the experiences we have, the culture we embrace, and, ultimately, the identity we choose.

She gigged with her dad and uncle throughout high school and later obtained her degree in nursing while pursuing a solo career. She was diagnosed with cancer last June. After completing six rounds of chemo, Felicia feels this is her moment.

OG Maco

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update OG Maco Not Hip Hop" on Spreaker. Just because it has a beat that resembles Hip Hop doesn't mean the intention of putting the rhythm out there instantly slams a label on the release. OG Maco's not into speaking the street that way. He's vow is to open the imaginations of music fans and writers to be an individual and not wear what everybody has put a name on. It'll make the community stronger when you are being who you are and not what you've been pushed into. His latest release on rBeatz Radio is titled Worried.

Nicki Minaj

Her latest release on rBeatz Radio has her teamed up with Drake and Lil Wayne. A tune titled No Frauds.

Mitch Albom

Listen to "Mitch Albom 20th Anniversary of Tuesdays With Morrie" on Spreaker. In 1995, Mitch Albom would see an interview that would change not only his life, but the lives of millions around the world. It was Ted Koppel’s Nightline conversation with Morris “Morrie” Schwartz, Albom’s favorite and beloved college professor. Morrie had been diagnosed with ALS and was spending his final months talking with others about what it meant to be dying. Moved by the interview, and feeling guilty that he had lost touch for all those years, Albom went to visit his old teacher. That turned into another visit, and another, and every Tuesday Morrie had left in his life. Their wise and loving conversations became the basis for TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE. Albom wrote the small book only to pay Morrie’s medical bills. TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE was published in 1997 with a small initial print run, but the response was overwhelming. Its message of inspiration resounded with readers, launching the memoir to the #1 spot on numerous bestseller lists, where it would remain for years. TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE would be adapted by Oprah Winfrey into an Emmy-winning TV movie (starring Hank Azaria and Jack Lemmon, in one of his final performances), as well as a stage play that has seen hundreds of productions around the world. The book, published in 41 languages, is now a staple in classrooms, universities, and homes. On March 28, 2017, Broadway Books will publish a special 20th Anniversary Edition to commemorate this remarkable milestone. This special edition will include a new afterword from Albom, reflecting back on his relationship with Morrie and the incredible impact the book has had since its original publication. With over 15 million copies sold to-date worldwide, TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE is a true publishing phenomenon. Its enduring success proves that this story is not only touching, but timeless, and with the 20th Anniversary Edition, Albom will share Morrie’s lesson—and two decades of perspective—with a whole new generation of readers.

Patoranking

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Patoranking Unvieled" on Spreaker. Patoranking uses music to make his global connection. Somewhat of a new name here in the states. Easily you can see how much Bob Marley played in the creation of his far reaching presence. Especially when it comes to his burning desire to always be for the people. The latest release from Patoranking on rBeatz Radio is My Woman.

John Oates

Raised in a small Pennsylvania town, he was exposed to folk, blues, soul, and R&B. Meeting and teaming up with Daryl Hall in the late 1960s, they developed a style of music that was uniquely their own but never abandoned their roots. John uncovers the grit and struggle it took to secure a recording contract with the legendary Atlantic Records and chronicles the artistic twists and turns that resulted in a DJ discovering an obscure album track that would become their first hit record. This is not your typical rock and roll story. John was focused creating great music. Daryl Hall and John Oates have over 20 albums together, more than 60 million records sold, and 29 Top 40 hits. Sam Tripoli

Listen to "Sam Tripoli Creator of The Diobolical" on Spreaker. Practitioner of the Deadly Art of Comedy! Sam Tripoli views comedy as a calling rather a profession. It’s a passion that he preaches to audiences live in nightclubs, radio, television and pod- casts nationwide. Sam co-hosts the All Things Comedy Network podcast, Punch Drunk Sports with Ari Shaffir and Jayson Thibault. Tripoli’s last album “Believe In Yourself” debuted at #2 on iTunes in America and #1 in Canada! His TV Credits include Showtime’s "Live Nude”, "Russell Peters' Comic Without Borders!”, NetFlix’s “Chocolate Sunday’s Live From The Sunset Strip!” E!’s “Love You, Mean it! With Whitney Cummings,” multiple appearances on CBS’s “The Late Late Show,” MTV’s “Act Out” and “Comics Unleashed” on ABC Entertainment, and has appeared on “Bellator MMA Digital”. He was co-host of Spike TV’s hugely popular “Wild World of Spike" with Jason Ellis and Kit Kope. Plus, Sam is proud to be featured in the new documentary film about Stand up comedy called “Dying Laughing!” coming out in theaters in 2017. His appearance on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” garnered him only one of two standing ovations in the history of the show. Tripoli has been heard on “The Howard Stern Show,” “The Jason Ellis Show” on Sirius Radio, and also regularly appears on “The Joe Rogan Experience” and “The Fighter and The Kid” podcasts. Sam also had a standup residency appearance with his “Naughty Show” at Planet Hollywood’s Sin City Theatre in Las Vegas through the summer of 2016. On stage he’s a force of nature, pacing the stage like a cyclone of funny as he questions authority and the conventions of our society one moment, then earnestly expressing his affinity for bizarre the next. His comedy has no limits – its whatever he’s thinking about, and that’s usually what every- one else is thinking about, even though sometimes we don’t like to admit to it. “I like to think of myself as the little voice in everyone’s head, except I have a microphone and I’m funnier,” Sam says. His new comedy album, The Diabolical, will be released Friday March 17th, available on iTunes.

Augustin Fuentes

Listen to "Augustin Fuentes The Creative Spark" on Spreaker. Creativity: it’s the secret of what makes humans special. Agustín Fuentes, professor and Chair of the Department of Anthropology at University of Notre Dame, brings us this optimistic assertion -- that we are defined as a species by our unique capacity for creativity and collaboration.  In THE CREATIVE SPARK, a history of human creativity, he weaves together fascinating stories about our ancestors and explores how creativity has propelled the evolutionary development of our bodies, minds, and cultures over millions of years. Join Agustín Fuentes on Tuesday, March 21st, as he discusses:   ·         The history and trajectory of human creativity, from selective foraging and hunting to modern technology. ·         The unique relationship between humans and dogs, the only domesticated animal that shaped our evolutionary path even as we shaped theirs. ·         Evidence that men are not inherently more violent and women are not inherently more domestic. ·         The dark side of human creativity—how social constructs such as race, gender, and nationality incite conflict at levels not seen in other species. ·         Actionable steps we can take to harness our own creative power when it comes to food, sex, art, science, and more.   As Fuentes concludes, to make something lasting and useful today you need to understand the nature of your collaboration with others, what imagination can and can't accomplish, and, finally, just how completely our creativity is responsible for the world we live in.   About the Author: Agustín Fuentes is a professor and the chair of Notre Dame’s Department of Anthropology and a National Geographic Explorer. He has contributed to Psychology Today, Huffington Post, Salon.com, and Slate.com. He is the author of Race, Monogamy, and Other Lies They Told You, and winner of the W.W. Howells Book Award. He lives in Indiana.

Emperors And Elephants

Listen to "Jason From Emperors and Elephants" on Spreaker. Emperors and Elephants is a hard driving modern heavy rock band based in the suburbs of the Windy City, Chicago Illinois. Formed in early 2010, they quickly gathered great momentum in the Midwest area, and started venturing further outside the region. Area rock stations took hold of E&E and featured the song “Who You Are” in their rotations. Leading the charge was 95.1 WIIL Rock, who took it to the next level with a special E&E on-air acoustic performance requested by listeners. Drawing from their musical heroes of hard and heavy music, each member contributes to the unique vibe and sound of the band, and the end result gives E&E its own identity. Their efforts were noticed immediately and directly led to the signing with Pavement Entertainment. Armed with a collection of newly inspired material, 2014 saw the band release their debut full-length album, “Devil in the Lake” (Pavement Entertainment). The 2014 “Devil in the Lake” Tour brought E&E throughout the country well into 2016, playing countless shows and festivals, masterfully broadening their fan base. Emperors & Elephants became a solid touring machine, with their popularity soaring at every turn. On the evening of August 13th 2016, tragedy struck in Savage, Minnesota. After playing a show, lead guitarist and founding member Jeff Windisch suffered a massive heart-attack and regrettably passed away. The loss of Jeff was devastating. After taking some much needed time to recover and heal, the band decided the best way to honor their friend was to continue on; with the help of long time fan and friend Anthony Modica taking the mantel of lead guitar as a permanent member of Emperors and Elephants. Before Jeff's passing, the band completed work on their highly anticipated follow up album. Titled “Moth”, the album will be released in March of 2017. Starley

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Starley Almost Gave In" on Spreaker. We've read the pages of every music magazine for decades on how difficult it is to get into the music business. It's even tougher to stay active. Starley left her homeland of Australia to take up songwriting in London. Only to find herself on the very stage her past told her she'd never reach. Starley's latest release on rBeatz Radio is Call On Me.

Zedd

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Zedd Creating Music In The Basement" on Spreaker. Even radio people played the secret spot in the house game. I endlessly practiced being a disc jockey in my bedroom. Musicians are no different. The greatest of the great had a hidden sweet spot in the house or garage that became their stages of lets pretend. For Zedd it was his parents basement. It was how he turned each corner of the room into an instrument that earned him a recording contract. His latest release on rBeatz Radio is Stay.

Dr James Doty

Listen to "Dr James Doty Author Of Into The Magic Shop" on Spreaker. You wouldn’t know it from meeting him today, but Dr. James Doty, an extremely successful neurosurgeon, the director of the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Care (CCARE), and a close, personal friend of the Dalai Lama, grew up poor with an alcoholic, unreliable father and a chronically depressed mother. He had no direction, no one in his family had ever gone to college, and he was on a path to nowhere. But when he was twelve years old, and interested in illusions and magic, he wandered INTO THE MAGIC SHOP: A Neurosurgeon’s Quest to Discover the Mysteries of the Brain and the Secrets of the Heart (Avery, February 14, 2017, Hardcover, eBook) and met Ruth, a woman who saw potential in Jim and taught him how to manifest his greatest desires through a series of techniques and meditative exercises. She already knew what Jim would soon learn: a unique relationship between the brain and the heart could allow one to manifest their greatest desires and lead to incredible success and happiness. Doty was more successful at manifesting his desires than he ever thought possible: he got into college, medical school, became a neurosurgeon and rich as an entrepreneur that, on paper and with his background and grades, made no sense, but in his mind, were the only possible outcomes for his life. But Doty neglected one of the most important lessons from Ruth: keeping his heart open. He had riches and dazzling professional success, but felt empty inside. Suddenly he has a financial setback essentially losing everything except for the stock of one company that had yet to go public. Should he take that stock and give it to the charities he had committed to support when he had “everything” or give it away and be virtually bankrupt? Would this act of charity ruin his life or be the stepping-stone to real success? INTO THE MAGIC SHOP is part memoir, part neuroscience with practical instructions from Ruth included as well. It shows how we can all fundamentally change our lives by changing our brains and opening our hearts and by doing so have real happiness. https://www.spreaker.com/user/arroe/dr-james-doty-author-of-into-the-magic-s

While Megan has a mysterious past she is trying to keep hidden, Kyle has secrets of his own. Isaac Lidsky

Listen to "Isaac Lidsky Eyes Wide Open" on Spreaker. In his popular new TED Talk "What reality are you creating for yourself?," former Saved by the Bell teen star-turned-entrepreneur Isaac Lidsky recalls how the sales person he waved to in the store was really a mannequin, and how he reached down to wash his hands and realized it was a urinal and not a sink. He learned of his diagnosis at thirteen: Retinitis Piegmentosa, a degenerative eye disease that would lead to his blindness by age 25. After initially believing his blindness signaled the end of his independence and achievement, Lidsky found other pathways of perception, turning his life around with his Eyes Wide Open philosophy. He graduated from Harvard Law School, worked as a law clerk under the guidance of Sandra Day O’Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and eventually became a highly successful entrepreneur and family man.   In his new book EYES WIDE OPEN: Overcoming Obstacles and Recognizing Opportunities in a World That Cant’s See Clearly, Isaac Lidsky probes the many facets of perception, detailing the neuroscience of sight and drawing on his own experience to show how our perception shapes—and often limits—our reality.

We've stacked the deck again with up tempo driving rock songs, mid tempo tunes and a few acoustic ballad tracks. We're hoping this new album will be added to your existing Night Ranger catalog!!!" enthuses Gillis. CJ Box

Listen to "CJ Box Author Of Vicious Circle" on Spreaker. Dallas Cates has always been trouble. The only member of a malevolent family to make something of himself, Dallas squandered his talent and celebrity as a rodeo champion and landed in state prison after he messed with the wrong girl, Joe Pickett’s daughter April. The conviction was the culmination of a violent altercation that left three Cateses dead and landed Dallas’s manipulative mother in prison.  Now, Dallas has been released and he blames Joe for everything. When Joe’s cohort Dave Farkus overhears Dallas and his companions plotting against about the Pickett family, he tries to warn the lawman. It is an act that will lead to Farkus’s brutal slaying in the nearby mountains.   Although Dallas is quickly apprehended for the murder, it turns out he inherited his wily mind from his malicious mother and the Pickett family is far from safe. When April’s roommate is attacked and critically wounded by a mysterious woman who seems to have connections to Dallas, it’s obvious that April was the real intended target. With everyone he loves at risk, Joe is nonetheless hamstrung by the law—there is not much he can do without proof that Dallas is out to get them. And by the time he has that proof, it may be too late.

Peter Coyote

Listen to "Peter Coyote From Americana" on Spreaker.

Riton

Other very special guests to be announced.     “You soon knew that [The Band’s] legacy would be well feted. Earplugs were required — for the crowd, not the band,” wrote the Huffington Post in its review of the show at the Orpheum in Boston, Massachusetts. “The roar from the audience, which remained standing throughout the show, eclipsed even the occasional eerily screeching synth segments, and the unworldly bleats often coming out of the horns.”  "Whenever you’re doing someone else’s music, you’re paying respect and bringing the deepest parts of your own personality to bear. And you hope for surprises,” says Haynes in an article published by the Philadelphia Inquirer. "These songs – so deeply ingrained in the zeitgeist of who we are in this country – hearing them now is like finding a rare jewel.” "People love these songs and they’ve become a part of the emotional zeitgeist of country. And unlike the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Beach Boys or Pink Floyd songs, there’s nobody that’s playing this stuff for folks. You can’t really go to a concert and hear anyone playing The Band’s songs," says Don Was.  “The Last Waltz 40 Tour: A Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of The Last Waltz” is an extension of Blackbird Present’s two-night, sold-out concert event “Last Waltz New Orleans: A Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of The Last Waltz,” which took place during Jazz Fest 2016 at the historic Saenger Theatre. Heralded as one of New Orleans best events during Jazz Fest, the epic event paid tribute to The Band’s milestone final concert with unprecedented performances and an extraordinary lineup of artists. “The last 30 minutes of The Last Waltz @SaengerNOLA was best thing I’ve heard @jazzfest” said Keith Spera, music critic, The New Orleans Advocate.  Creator and executive producer Keith Wortman and Blackbird Presents have once again gathered a truly prodigious cast of musicians led by musical director GRAMMY® Award-winning guitar legend and vocalist Warren Haynes (Gov’t Mule, The Allman Brothers Band, The Dead) and GRAMMY® Award-winning producer/musician Don Was, with GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter Dr. John, ACM Award-winning singer/songwriter Jamey Johnson, and legendary funk drummer Terence Higgins (Dirty Dozen Brass Band), along with the original horn arrangements of Allen Toussaint. Legendary promoters Larry Magid, Arny Granat, along with Live Nation and AEG, are the tour promoters.

Set It Aside

Listen to "Set It Aside" on Spreaker. I'm amazed by the number of things we set aside. Some like to call it procrastination. I see it as a personal need to rid the mind body and soul of the extra weight of dreams, wishes, desires and needs. And yet we carry an amazing amount of negative vibrations brought on by co-workers, bosses, our children, the neighborhood. We feel it's ok to set aside a positive while keeping a firm grip on an accusation made ten years ago. Set it aside! It takes just as much energy to be positive as it does being negative. The problem is? Most of us don't know how to find our way back to positive. We think it has to arrive on its own time. Not so. Positive energy surrounds your every step. We've just made it too simple to set aside. Because the weight of the negative has you convinced that it has more importance. Set it aside. Document the areas that make you positive. Then get back to it. I write every morning before the sun rises. I feed the deer by 7:20am. If there's negative energy it's carried into the areas that make my positive. Once there... there's no negative. It doesn't hold us prisoner. Set it aside. Locate your positive and live it. Be that person that others point at because they can't believe how positive you are. Now teach them how you have achieved a cleaner way of living.

Gene Stone

Listen to "Gene Stone The Trump Survival Guide Part Two" on Spreaker. Available now, THE TRUMP SURVIVAL GUIDE: Everything You Need to Know About Living Through What You Hoped Would Never Happen by Gene Stone (Trade Paperback; $9.99) is the first go-to guide for those who wish to understand—and to stop—Trump’s proposed policies. You may remember author Gene Stone from his 2004 satirical bestseller The Bush Survival Bible. This time, instead of satire, Stone offers a serious call to action for people looking for answers and ways to mobilize following Trump’s victory. The stunning election results rocked an already divided America and left scores of citizens, including the nearly sixty-five million voters who supported Hillary Clinton, feeling bereft and powerless. THE TRUMP SURVIVAL GUIDE offers guidance and concrete solutions they can use to make a difference, showing them how to move from anger and despair to activism. Since we need to be clear about the battles ahead before we can successfully engage, Stone outlines the major social and political issues at stake for America. These include: Civil Rights, the Economy, Education, Energy, Entitlement Programs, the Environment, Immigration, LGBTQ Issues, National Security, Obamacare, Political issues, and Women’s issues. He offers a brief history of each, a refresher on Obama’s policies, and an analysis of what Trump’s administration might do to undermine their existing progress. And most importantly, Stone provides an invaluable guide for fighting back, referring readers to specific organizations, websites, books, and countless other resources they can use to support positive and progressive action. Among Stone’s advice: contact your representatives, sign petitions, deploy social media, stay informed, get involved, educate others, join boycotts, volunteer, donate money, report hate crimes, and make allies. While marches and social media are important forms of protest, concrete actions achieve real change. Positive and reinforcing, THE TRUMP SURVIVAL GUIDE presents the essential information we need to effectively make our voices heard and our power felt.

Paul Provenza

Listen to "Paul Provenza From Dying Laughing" on Spreaker. Paul Provenza (born July 31, 1957) is a television host and actor, actor on stage, radio panelist, stand-up comedian, filmmaker, and skeptic based in Los Angeles. Provenza was born and grew up in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx, New York City, and graduated in 1975 from the Bronx High School of Science. In high school, he started performing stand-up comedy, making his stage debut at age 17 at the original The Improv in Manhattan. He continued performing while attending the University of Pennsylvania, taking a year's leave of absence to study in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. While at RADA, he joined a classical repertory theater group, becoming one of few Americans to perform the role of Romeo on the London stage. He graduated in 1979 from the University of Pennsylvania, the year it awarded its first Theatre Arts degree. At Penn, he wrote for the Pennsylvania Punch Bowl and was a cast member of the Mask and Wig Club, where he has returned numerous times to perform in the annual Intercollegiate Comedy Festival. Provenza made his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson on March 25, 1983. Additional television work includes hosting a short-lived Nickelodeon TV show from 1988 until 1989 called Kids Court, appearing as Patrick in Empty Nest, and playing Dr. Phil Capra in Season 6 of CBS's Northern Exposure, opposite Teri Polo. While working as a standup comedian and on television, Provenza also found work in theatre. He received critical acclaim for his work on stage, with his performance in the Off-Broadway play Only Kidding! being nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Best Actor and winning the Theater World Award for Best Actor in a Play. He was the stand-up comedian opening act for Diana Ross for three years or more. He was honored with a caricature by the legendary Al Hirschfeld. He also is a frequent panelist on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me on National Public Radio After decades as a stand-up comic and actor, Provenza found a new calling as an interviewer of other stand-ups, culminating in his 2005 directorial debut, The Aristocrats (made with Penn Jillette). At the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Provenza held a nightly show at the Underbelly, Talk of the Fest. Held at 11pm each night of the festival, the set up was described by Provenza as that of a "green room for the whole festival". Guests included Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park. The show was reprised by Provenza at the 2007 Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, where guests included Billy Connolly, Eddie Izzard, and members of The Kids in the Hall. In 2010, Showtime picked up the show and on June 12, 2010, The Green Room with Paul Provenza debuted with many of the same festival guest line-ups. In 2011, Provenza began developing a new show called Set List - Stand-Up Without A Net. The show was originally devised by Troy Conrad and features stand-up comedians who are made to improvise their sets based on suggestions they receive. After successful appearances at worldwide comedy festivals including Just For Laughs, the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, it was picked up for television by UK broadcaster Sky Atlantic. The series included performers Robin Williams, Drew Carey and Frank Skinner and was also broadcast in Australia on ABC2. In May, 2010, Provenza's book, ¡Satiristas!, with photography by Dan Dion was released by Harper-Collins. It features in-depth interviews with Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher, George Carlin, Marc Maron, among others. ABOUT THE STAND-UP COMEDY DOCUMENTARY DYING LAUGHING, IN THEATERS AND ON DEMAND FEBRUARY 24th DYING LAUGHING is a candid look at the complicated and fascinating lives of some of the world’s greatest stand-up comedians. A beautiful, moving, funny and unique feature length documentary on the agony and the ecstasy of making people laugh. A stand-up comedian must be the writer, the director and the star performer - and in stand-up there is no rehearsal, no practice, no safety net as it only works in front of a live audience, with feedback being instantaneous and often brutal. For most people, baring their soul on stage and having an audience “boo” at you would become a life-long trauma, but for stand-up comedians, it’s a nightly challenge. The funny and heartfelt documentary contains original interviews interlaced with personal footage of life on the road – all from a comedian's point of view. Once you take this step behind the curtain, you will never look at these funny folks the same way again. Includes interviews with: Kevin Hart, Jamie Foxx, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Garry Shandling, Sarah Silverman, Cedric The Entertainer, Eddie Izzard, Billy Connolly, Steve Coogan, Mike Epps, Jerry Lewis, DL Hughley, Amy Schumer, Allan Havey, Bob Saget, Bobby Lee, Bonnie McFarlane, Cocoa Brown, Dave Attell, David A. Arnold, Dom Irrera, Emo Philips, Faizon Love, Felipe Esparza, Frank Skinner, George Wallace, Frankie Boyle, George Wallace, Gilbert Gottfried, Grant Cotter, Jason Manford, Jay Phillips, Jeff Joseph, Jim Jefferies, Jo Brand, John Thomson, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Kevin Christy, Kym Whitley, Kira Soltanovich, Kirk Fox, Lee Mack, Neal Brennan, Omid Djalili, Paul Provenza, Rick Overton, Royale Watkins, Russell Peters, Sam Tripoli, Sandra Bernhard, Sean Lock, Stephen K. Paul Luftenegger

Listen to "Paul Luftenegger The Authentic Love" on Spreaker. To get the opportunity to share conversations with other creative minds is a moment of gratefulness. I love listening to their paths come to life. How they've built upon as well as continue to share. But as a producer it occurred to me how much you're missing from the authentic love from the artist. I truly enjoy the post production part of the process of broadcasting. But believe the listener is missing out on the moments of where thought became a moment of inspiration. When you get to sit down and break bread with Paul Luftenegger you can't help but feel the presence of incredible peace. So today I'd like to set aside the sounds of music so you can hear the authentic love from his heart.

Zedd

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Zedd On Being Real With Music" on Spreaker. The electronic age has cleared the way for songwriters and producers to make their sound anywhere. That's a luxury right? Well fans are getting smarter and can tell the difference between the instruments. It's opened the door for creative minds like Zedd to bring out the real instruments. He likes to hear it on the piano first. His latest release on rBeatz Radio is Stay.

Chainsmokers

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Chainsmokers Having Fun" on Spreaker. Fans... Followers... Those with a sense of humor... The Chainsmoker's have jumped into the Top Ten again. This time with a song that sounds extremely familiar. That only opens the door for people to make a leap toward the web and have a little fun. Jest... Laughter... The real song on rBeatz Radio that's helped push The Chainsmokers into music history by becoming only the third act ever to land three songs in the Top 10 simultaneously is Something Just Like This. The other two acts to pull off such a stunt were The Beatles and The Bee Gees. Which shocks me. I always thought only bands that start with a B made these kinds of headlines.
