The Inner Ear

Listen to "The Inner Ear" on Spreaker. Not everybody can get up before the sun rises to embrace the internal moments of a planet moving from darkness to light. And yet through our own seasons we can document the growth of who we are versus what we are. The difference between the two is based on who's controlling the fields that invite your harvest. Are you the farmer or the nourishment for other people's needs? You'll hear me say it a million times. We were all born to create. Your soul purpose in the process is to bring something to the surface. That's a lot of pressure in a socially networked world where leadership today is based on research, Facebook posts and the best selfie of the day. How do we grow back into the original person we set out to become? Who you were at the start is nowhere near the person you've grown into. I've sat with huge decision makers that look across their desks and softly say "This isn't why I got into the business." My reply is always going to be, "So what's stopping you from being a better you?" Tough place to put someone. But honest. If what you share in conversation is going to be a string of complaints. As the listener its our position to bring out the opposite side and or choice. Was it who or what opened the door for Apple? Was it who or what offered the right soil for Pepsi and Coke to move beyond being one soft drink? Who is your what? What is your who? When was the last time you asked your inner ear to listen to the self still alive within the shell you carry every day?
