Are we talking too much?
Just because I’m a daily writer and podcaster doesn’t mean I find great
joy in talking. I’d rather say
nothing. It’s who I am! I was that kid in Montana that didn’t want to
leave his bedroom. I always sat in back
seat on the bus doing all I could to find the furthest seat in the classroom.
What makes this abnormal are the forty three years I’ve invested in
broadcasting. The medium has nothing to
do with my personality because I keep wondering if we’re talking too much. People have a lot to say. About nothing. Big thoughts without activation. Getting into a conversation means getting
wrapped up in other people’s drama. Don’t
know about you but the voices in the head are constantly talking and most of
the time they’re screaming for us to create a conversation or make some sort of
connection. We did the eye glance thing
for two years because of Covid. You know
what body language does! Oh oh they hate me.
What did I do wrong this time?
Life is about forward motion as well as emotion. The question isn’t can we please stop
talking. Are we talking too much? There’s so much being said about the possibilities
of a world war to the price of food, gas and funerals. Our human consumption
levels are off the charts. We don’t know
who or what to believe. Too much talk.
To make matters worse the warranty on your car is up but we can help you
locate a solution. Too much talk!
