Bubonik Funk

The origins of the Bubonik Funk pandemic have been traced back nearly eight years ago to Charlotte, North Carolina, where four carriers of the virus met as high school sophomores at a Catholic School. Contrary to the straight-laced, uniform attitude of their colleagues, these four young students were sick in the mind, and the infection spread immediately. No eardrums were spared. Four self-produced albums and hundreds of tour dates later, reports of advanced staged symptoms began to come to light. Reports of the funk were issued from as far south as Boca Raton FL, Athens, Atlanta, and Charlotte, extending up the coast to New York City, Boston, Philly and dozens of other markets along the seaboard. Levels of Bubonik Funk in 2014 are projected to be outright devastating. The band is set to release a new studio album in April for the first time in two years. It is rumored to be the most potent of any previous musical strains. A New York based PR Company has signed with the group, backing the funk with three full-time publicists and a social media director. The biggest tour to date launched in early January: 3 months from Key West, Florida to New England. Please stay safe, Bubonik Funk does not discriminate: Black, white, young and old are all susceptible and the funk is proliferating fast. There is no known cure at this time.
