From the IHeart Radio Studio I'm Unplugged and Totally Uncut with Jonathan Magnum from Lets Make A Deal With his gift for improv comedy, Jonathan Mangum has made a name for himself as one of television’s quickest, and smartest, wits. Mangum is seen daily on the hit CBS game show Let’s Make A Deal alongside his longtime friend and collaborator, Wayne Brady. Prime time audiences will recognize him from recurring on the hit CW improv comedy series Whose Line Is It Anyway? Mangum’s career in improv began while in college in Orlando, Florida. Soon after, he moved to Los Angeles, and landed work on one hit series after another including NCIS, Reno 911, Just Shoot Me, Married With Children, Pushing Daisies, The Sarah Silverman Show, The Drew Carey Show, Drew Carey’s Greenscreen Show, and The Wayne Brady Show. After two seasons working on The Drew Carey Show as fan favorite character Scott, he was invited to join the Drew Carey Improv All-Stars. The group went on to tour in over 60 venues, including Carnegie Hall. He has also been touring internationally with Wayne Brady performing improve since 2000. Mangum’s feature film credits include The Bucket List, House at the End of the Drive, Imagine That, and The Revenant. In addition to acting and improv comedy, Mangum has written for an array of television including The Wayne Brady Show, The Brandon T. Jackson Show, and BET Honors. He cowrote and stared in Home Purchasing Club as well as the short film Conversations. He wrote an animated pilot called The Lumberjacksons, and continues to develop ideas for television and film. Born in Charleston, S.C., Magnum grew up in Mobile, Alabama. He lives in Los Angeles and is married to Leah Mangum, a writer, actor and casting director. They have two children.
