Miss USA Debbye Turner Bell

Since day one of my radio career I've stood behind the push to adopt pets. All of my fuzzy children have been rescues... There's no better place to locate a soul mate. From the iHeart Radio Studio I'm Unplugged and Totally Uncut with Miss America Debbye Turner Bell on National Puppy Day!!!! At Nature’s Variety, we believe dogs and cats should live healthy, happy lives. It’s core to our company purpose of empowering people to transform the lives of pets®. Best Friends Animal Society is an animal welfare organization with a goal to end the unnecessary killing of adoptable dogs and cats in animal shelters. And now, Nature’s Variety and Best Friends Animal Society are excited to announce the launch of Long Live Pets and begin an exclusive partnership. LONG LIVE PETS Long Live Pets is a multifaceted campaign designed to educate the public about saving the lives of thousands of shelter pets and encourage people to adopt a pet. Shockingly, an estimated seven to eight million pets enter shelters and rescues each year. Three to four million of these pets, who are beautiful and adoptable, are killed in those shelters due to lack of space. This equates to about 9,000 pets every single day. Long Live Pets will raise awareness of the scale of this issue and inspire people to take action. As the first part of our Long Live Pets campaign, we’re inviting pet lovers to join us in the creation of an inspiring short film celebrating the first day in the new life of a rescued dog. Owners of adopted or rescued dogs are invited to submit photos of their rescues at LongLivePets.com to be included in the film. The film will be used to inspire thousands more to join the no-kill movement by adopting a pet, volunteering, or making a donation. Submit photos now through March 31, 2015.
