Joe Maye

Baltimore, MD native Joe Maye went head-to-head with teammate Kata Hay. Kata beat Joe, and Christina named her the winner of the knockout. However, moments letter Blake pushed his button and stole Joe Maye. In middle school, Joe Maye had his first singing experience when he joined the school choir. He spent most of high school performing in musicals and even got a job after graduating high school as a singing waiter on an entertainment cruise in Baltimore harbor. Although he auditioned for Season 9, Joe was unable to turn a chair because the coaches worried that he concentrated too much on dancing and not enough on vocals. Joe has spent his time concentrating on his voice hoping to yield a better result for Season 10.
