Robert Lamm from Chicago

Now More Than Ever: The History of Chicago was voted Best of Fest among audiences at the 22nd Annual Sedona International Film Festival. Honorees were announced Sunday morning. The no-holds barred Peter Pardini-directed look at the iconic rock band that will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on April 8 had its world premiere at the 2016 Festival. The band opened the Festival with back-to-back sold-out performances. This year is full of special events for the band, beginning with Chicago performing at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles. The star-studded crowd gave the band a standing ovation. Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire will embark on their North American co-headlining Spring 2016 tour, Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire - Heart And Soul Tour. As they have done before, both bands open and close the show together, featuring all 21 musicians on stage, joining forces for the show’s incredible finale. The 2016 dates will hit cities that weren’t on last year’s tour. “One of the most exciting things about the show is when both bands perform at the end of the concert,” Lee Loughnane of Chicago said. “Having these very talented musicians playing our greatest hits together puts the excitement level at a fever pitch! From the Heart of Chicago and the Soul of Earth, Wind & Fire, it is an unforgettable experience.” Chicago is also set for the 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular with three performances on July 2, 3 and 4, 2016, with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. The band has played with Orchestras around the country in recent years, but this is sure to be one of the most special. As the band heads towards their 50th anniversary, such a milestone would make anyone take it a bit more slowly.
