He began honing his craft by posting self-made, videos on YouTube and performing for his dedicated fans, who coined themselves “The Deezy Army”, on Blog-TV in early 2010. (Deezy is a nickname given to Dylan by his fans) During his rise in popularity (currently approaching 400 thousand Twitter followers and almost 100 thousand YouTube subscribers with millions of video views), Dylan recorded his first single, “Tonight”, released in January 2013 and “Be My Baby” in 2014. Dylan writes his own music and toured throughout the summer and fall of 2014, with more touring planned for 2015. Over the past two years, Dylan traveled the country performing at events, including “Teen Hoot”, OMG, and at other major music venues including the Seattle State Fair in 2014. Dylan continues touring with other major pop acts throughout the country and also performed in Europe in 2013. In 2011, Pop Star Magazine recognized Dylan as being the “Next Teen Mega Crush.” Although his genre is categorized as “Pop”, his songs are inspired by many genres including rock, rap, country, and R&B. Many artists fuel his inspiration, such as: Aerosmith, Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Jason Mraz, Garth Brooks, Chris Brown, Drake and James Taylor. Dylan has also performed in support of the homeless and Pencil’s for Promise. He’s an advocate for the humane treatment of animals, as well as the National Anti-Bullying Campaign. In addition to touring, Dylan continues to perform on various social media platforms to keep in touch with his fans and elicit their feedback, keeping ever true to his motto, “Fans First.”
