Harper Starling
Listen to "Harper Starling Euphoria" on Spreaker.
For the second consecutive week, Billboard Top 40 artist Harper Starling is climbing over Drake’s “God’s Plan” single on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart with The Perry twins for their new “Euphoria” single. “Euphoria” has climbed to #30.
"Euphoria is such a special and personal song,” Harper says. “The fact that everyone is responding so well to it and now it's on the Billboard Dance Charts is heaven. It's everything that I have hoped for.”
The song is featured as part of “Euphoria: The Remixes”, a curated collection of eight tracks. In addition to The Perry Twins Original Mix, the package includes remixes by Dirty Werk (Kesha, Dave Aude) and Dan Thomas (Moby, Ralphi Rosario).
Driven by Harper’s dynamic vision and real-life experiences, the dancefloor anthem tackles deeper emotional issues. While listeners are captivated by inspiring phrases in the chorus, Harper shares her deeper story in the lines “I’m not holding on to what’s not holding me”, “Cause I feel like the real me now” and “There is no one that can bring me to my knees.”
Harper penned the hit with songwriter Kasia Livingston (Britney Spears, Flo Rida, Jessie J) and Michael Graye (Lynn Verlayne Studio). It is the follow-up to her debut single, “Disco Mirror Dream”, that received praise from press and fans.
For the production, Harper tapped The Perry Twins whose remixes propelled many artists to the top of the Billboard dance charts including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Troye Sivan.
“Euphoria” will also be featured on Harper’s upcoming debut EP, “Planet Disco”, with collaborations by Steve Daly (Pink), Scott Jacoby (John Legend, Coldplay) and Aimee Proal (Kelly Clarkson) among others.
