HISTORY’s new competition series Knight Fight steps inside the world of the full-contact Armored Combat League — often referred to as “Medieval MMA” or “Knight Fight Club.” This blood sport is where modern-day warriors battle in over eighty pounds of plated armor with real steel weapons. Rooted in historical traditions, these knights will wage war as each episode features six new fighters who customize era-specific armor, garb and weaponry to do battle to see who has the skill and strength to win the ultimate Knight Fight. The winner walks away with a championship title, $10,000 and a spot in the season finale for a chance to become the first ever Knight Fight champion.

Knight Fight is hosted and judged by Jay Reso, better known as WWE Superstar “Christian.” Jay had a 20-plus year career in the ring where he entertained fans and gained notoriety worldwide. Jay captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions and won 20 total Championships in WWE, including multiple tag team title reigns with his close friend Adam “Edge” Copeland.
