Adam auditioned for Season 12 singing "A Whiter Shade of Pale" by Procol Harum. Unfortunately no chairs turned, but Adam Levine encouraged him to work on his pitch problems and come back. Adam took the coaches' advice to heart, immediately enrolling in vocal lessons, as well as continuing to gig out four to five times a week. Adam received a ton of support from New Orleans after last season, but he really wants to do this for his family, who told him to never give up
