TRADING SPACES was
the first home makeover series of its kind and launched a generation of shows to follow in the television home design genre. Two sets of neighbor’s trade rooms for two days and, with the help of a designer and carpenter, makeover a room with a budget of $2000.
Hosted by Paige Davis, this season includes 12 episodes filmed across the country, where the designers tackle new challenges as varied as teachers’ lounges, twin sisters’ homes, attics, basements and even homes of ex-spouses, among others. Giving eager home
owners the opportunity to hand over their keys and entrust their neighbors and designers to re-imagine a room for them, there is never a shortage of fun, anticipation, hijinks and of course nerves that paint each episode differently.
Paige Davis is best known as the effervescent star of Trading Spaces, TV’s groundbreaking, Emmy-nominated® design-reality show. Paige was the host of OWN’s HOME
MADE SIMPLE, for which she was nominated for a 2013 Daytime Emmy® for Outstanding Host in a Lifestyle/Travel Program.
Davis’ book, Paige by Paige, A Year of Trading Spaces, spent several weeks at the top of the New
York Times Bestseller list. Her true love, however, is theatre and dance. Most recently, Paige gave a triumphant return to her role as Roxie Hart in CHICAGO on
Broadway. Her most recent theater experience had her playing God in AN ACT OF GOD directed by Marsha Mason, making
Paige the first woman to play the role. She is also very proud to have starred in the premiere of Mark St. Germain’s new play, DANCING LESSONS.
