From Hi-End Pottery.com Episode Three The Clay" on Spreaker.</a><script async src="https://widget.spreaker.com/widgets.js"></script>
H.I. has been playing with the elements made by the earth nearly all his life. Not everybody's moved by a middle school art teacher. They come with color wheel rules and straight edges and compasses that feature a lot of numbers but for what? H.I. got into clay. Not because he's a potter. H.I. sculpts his art into place. On this episode we dig into the idea of how and where we turn to make sure the right clay and texture is purchased. Carolina is tortured by Georgia clay. Bright orange and no desire to let plants grow through it. It lays there soaking up every ray of light from the sky while staining the bottoms of every pair of shoes like Cheetos. The right clay inspires the sculptor. Once that imaginations been cranked up and pushed forward the race is on.
