Matt may best be known as host of the four time Emmy nominated American Ninja Warrior and its latest spinoff, American Ninja Warrior Junior. As a licensed physician with a medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, he is the perfect new host for A&E’s Live Rescue

Following America’s first responders as they bravely put their lives on the line, Live Rescue documents emergency agencies in seven cities across the U.S. There are 32 camera feeds across the country that are fed into A&E’s NYC-based Studio and Control Room, where Matt is based with two analysts. The new season returns with two new agencies, including the Tallahassee Fire Department (FL) and the San Bernardino County Fire Department (CA). Returning departments include the Mesa Fire and Rescue Department (AZ), the Paterson Fire Department (NJ), the St. Louis Fire Department (MO), the Hamilton County EMS (TN), and the Sacramento Fire Department (CA).

In addition to American Ninja Warrior hosting duties, Emmy® Award-winner Matt Iseman hosted the HISTORY specials, Evel Live and Evel Live 2. Iseman is a licensed physician who completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado. Matt’s ongoing battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis transformed him into a strong supporter of the Arthritis Foundation, the charity he’s represented while winning Celebrity Apprentice. (Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger considers him a celebrity.) You can catch Matt having fun on Lip Sync Battle, Hollywood Game Night, and Ellen’s Game of Games. He’s also starred in countless commercials, numerous sitcoms and Transformers 2.
