Hey it’s Arroe.
Welcome to my new podcast series Play It Forward. A look at the unexpected changes endured by
entertainers, writers, camera people and all others affected but not infected
by the global invasion of the Coronavirus.
The goal is to feature two different types of episodes. The individual conversations as well as a
collected array of the entire picture.
Real people. Real stories. The struggle to Play It Forward.
Episode 13: Metal Meets Movies Taking On What Would Robin Do
When you think of Heavy Metal Thrash music the last place
you might search for the sound is Salt Lake City. Lost Asylum has been ripping many club walls to
shreds with their spot on stage presentation and hardcore vocal vibrations. Like all bands the Coronavirus forced them to
pull the bus off the road. When did they
know it was finally time?
Maude Garrett is a global giant when it comes to reviewing
movies. This week she’s letting fans of
the flick know there’s a free place to keep your binge watching alive. It’s
called Tubi.
Being part of the movie movement how does she see
Coronavirus playing out for local theaters?
Robin Williams was one of the first from the entertainment industry
to step onto the front lines of the Aids epidemic that brutally continues to
attack the planet. I spent time with his
manager David Steinberg and wanted to know how Robin would react with the
Coronavirus takeover.
