Dark Gothcore band A Lost Asylum returns to the music scene with their self-titled album, A Lost Asylum. The new release follows the 2018 album, entitled The Obsession. A Lost Asylum was produced by Tristan Anderson and is out now via Pavement Entertainment.
Lead vocalist Holly Watson says, "We took our love for emo and heavy, hard hitting music and combined them to create a new spin on emo. The album focuses on love, loss, and abuse. The inspiration for the album came from past personal experiences."
To celebrate the new release, A Lost Asylum premieres their music video for "Safe in Pieces," a dynamic track fresh from the new album. Watson delivers haunting melodies, and drummer Justin Bell provides brutal screams to conjure up the perfect storm of modern day emo. The video was made with Brave Productions and features Saryha Mussler and Alexander Farriell.
A Lost Asylum hails from Salt Lake City, UT. The band formed in 2016 and consists of Holly Watson (Lead Vocals), James Roake (Bass), Gil Menchaca (Guitar), Dante Long (Guitar), and Justin Bell (Drums/Unclean Vocals). They have built up a loyal fanbase by touring the West Coast, and hope to bring their brand of dark Gothcore music to people all around the world.
