Jim DiBattista (or "Coach") is a father of three boys and coach of a local youth football team in his native Philadelphia, PA. Having lost both of his parents much too soon, Jim knows he needs to urgently lose weight and lead a healthier life in order to continue inspiring his family and his team for years to come. Jim decided to go on The Biggest Loser at 385 pounds in order to prove to himself, his family, and his team that he's willing and able to tackle his weight and fight for a healthier future. Jim succeeded - he was the final winner of last season's competition!

Hard work with trainers Erica Lugo and Steve Cook and inspiration from host Bob Harper, saw his final number on the scale at 241, for a total loss of 144 pounds. "That final moment on stage - when I knew I was The Biggest Loser winner - I looked over at my wife, my three sons and my trainer, Erica, and I had a feeling of accomplishment that I had never felt before in my life. I am so proud that I was able to get it done for ALL of them; they sacrificed so much for me."
