Hey it’s Arroe.  This is Play It Forward.  A look at the unexpected changes endured by entertainers, writers, camera people and all others affected but not infected by the global invasion of the Coronavirus.

Real people.  Real stories.  The struggle to Play It Forward.

Episode 132 with Joey Sykes

For nearly eight months we’ve put a lot of thought and energy into getting our kids back in school.  Math, English, Geography and Reading are all important in class tools.  Then I came across Joey Sykes most recent project to help raise funds for music in schools.  It had totally slipped my mind.  The kids haven’t been getting their music direction!!!

Joey Sykes, guitarist for THE BABYS, has brought together a group of leading musicians to keep music education in schools.

They’ve created a new instrumental version of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” benefitting two leading music education nonprofits - Little Kids Rock and Save The Music - to support public school music programs currently at risk of being eliminated.

That’s Play It Forward.  You can listen to the full conversations with these artists on three different podcasts. Like Its Live, Unplugged and Totally Uncut and View from the Writing Instrument found on all digital platforms.
