January 7, 2022

I stood with a man yesterday that was having a difficult time realizing how we’ve been dealing with Covid 19 for two years.  As much as I tried to explain that March will mark the anniversary in the United States his choice was to argue with the distance.  I watched as he tried to explain personal beliefs.  I couldn’t tell if he was denying the pandemic or trying to rewrite history.  It only takes one to begin a process of reinvention.  This is why I daily write.  To not be part of a process of redesigning fact.  More of us need to do this.  As your jobs evolve back into the workplace document the moment and the emotions.  As we race beyond the insurrection or riot put it on a page before the media and politicians erase it.  It’s ok to have an indifference.  It’s who we are as people.  The man finally took note of where reality stand when he chose to count the number of March’s.  He went blank.  For time had gotten away from him.
