Catfish brings together couples who have interacted solely through computer screens. Over the course of months they’ve supposedly fallen in love - but what will happen when they meet in the flesh for the first time?
Host and EP Nev Schulman teams up with a rotation of celebrity co-hosts; this season they include Kamie Crawford, Tallulah Willis, Slick Woods, Elle King, Kimiko Glenn, Laura Perlongo and Justin Combs, who will help uncover a series of Catfish firsts. Viewers will be hooked on this season’s shocking investigations - including a hopeful's never-ending chase of a Catfish, two lovers being Catfished by the same person, and a Catfish who has apparently risen from the dead!
Nev Schulman is the original subject of the 2010 documentary Catfish, on which the MTV series is based. The film follows his journey of falling in love with a girl he meets on the Internet, but later finds out that she may not be exactly who she claimed to be.
