Hometown: Nashville, TN/Resident: Raleigh-Durham, NC
Calvin grew up singing in church with both of his parents being pastors. At 13, he knew he wanted to pursue music after getting a solo role in his school play. To take his skills to the next level, he began listening to music outside of the church and fell in love with the singer-songwriter genre. In college, Calvin started writing music with like-minded artists, but always felt the local music scene wasn't the right fit for him. Calvin recently moved to North Carolina for a fresh start and hopes "The Voice" can help jumpstart his music career.
