Her sci-fi hit, "Snakehead Terror", based on a true story, is still scaring people on the Sci-Fi Channel where it became not only a hit, but now a cult film. Some of her other films include: "Fatal Trust" for Lifetime, "Totally Awesome" for VH1,"Homo Erectus", an Adam Rifkin comedy starring Ali Larder, Tom Arnold and David Carradine, a new Sci-Fi Channel film called, "Swarmed" and "The Town that Banned Christmas", an independent film which joined the roster of Lions Gate Films for 2006.
She continued acting here and abroad with three new Italian films in 2007 and 2009.
She also went to the 8th round in the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars in 2009!
Carol was Donald Trump's pick for his first ever Celebrity Apprentice. The show and Carol did so well, that a new genre was born! Fans were so outraged that Carol was shut out from the finals by The Donald, that they would shout across restaurants their outrage! Carol helped Piers Morgan win. Piers said, "Without Carol's support and help, I would not have won!"
Always thinking of others, Carol spends her spare time (as if there is much) raising money for her late brother Tony Alt's Memorial Foundation. TAMFI.org gives 100% of its proceeds to worthy children's charities. The have just been accepted as a 9/11 Charity by the Cantor Fitzgerald BGC's Charity Day which Carol has worked for the past 4 years.
