Jamie Tworkowski If You Feel Too Much

It's a race. One you feel like you can't win. The energy is there. The backup team isn't anywhere near. Depression is like Religion and Politics. Nobody wants to talk about it. Then someone is given the path that's led millions worldwide to places of incredible peace. From the iHeart Radio Studio I'm Unplugged and Totally Uncut with Jamie Tworkowski. This is one voice that won't say, "Just get over it. Think happy and suddenly be." Really? Jamie Tworkowski is the founder of To Write Love on Her Arms, a nonprofit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and thoughts of suicide. TWLOHA has one of the largest online audiences of any non-profit (more than 2.5 million), and Jamie has been interviewed by NBC Nightly News, CBS's Sunday Morning, and Rolling Stone magazine, among others. He is the only non-musician to win an MTVU Woodie Award. Jamie speaks frequently, telling the TWLOHA story and encouraging audiences at universities, concerts, and music festivals. Jamie lives in Melbourne Beach, Florida, and loves surfing, music, and basketball. Tour Cities: New York Los Angeles Seattle Portland San Francisco Atlanta Nashville Austin Houston Chicago
