Jim Breuer Comic Frenzy

Jim Breuer just toured the Carolinas. You can't come to south and not learn a few new words. Oh baby does he ever let loose and have fun. By the way his show in Lenior NC... he's labeled it one of his best ever. What did you put in the water? From the iHeart Radio Studio Jim Breuer is back back back! Unplugged and Totally Uncut Premium TV network EPIX (EPIX.com) turns the spotlight on funnyman Jim Breuer with the World Television Premiere of Jim Breuer: Comic Frenzy on Friday, May 29, at 10pm ET/PT, 9C. The hour-long special, part of the network’s new roster of Original Comedy Events, will be available exclusively on EPIX, across all EPIX platforms, on demand and via the EPIX app. Filmed at The Paramount in Huntington, New York, Jim Breuer: Comic Frenzy focuses on what Breuer’s life (and all of our lives) truly consist of: dealing with the elderly, becoming our parents’ caretakers, parenting teenagers, and what it takes to be a “marriage warrior.” As an added bonus, Breuer also sheds some light on what it’s like to perform on “heavy metal-themed” cruises. It’s not nearly as glamorous as one might think. “I'm thrilled to be partnering with EPIX on my second comedy special with the network,” said Jim Breuer. “Standup comedy is my passion and my life, and now I'm excited to share my new material with my fans.” Jim Breuer: Comic Frenzy marks the comedian’s return to EPIX. “Jim Breuer: And Laughter For All” aired on the network in 2013. EPIX is known for its all-star roster of stand-up specials. Previous featured headliners include: Russell Brand, Dennis Miller, Lewis Black, Jenny McCarthy, Patton Oswalt, Louis C. K., Jim Norton, Tom Papa, Jim Jefferies, Sherri Shepherd and Eddie Izzard. EPIX’s commitment to the craft of comedy also includes the EPIX Original Documentary “The Improv: 50 Years Behind the Brick Wall,” a revealing special that brings together the biggest names in comedy to tell the inside story of America’s first comedy club. With more than 20 years of stand-up comedy experience, Jim Breuer remains one of today’s top entertainers and continues to win over audiences with his off-the-wall humor and lovable personality. Named one of Comedy Central’s “100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time,” Breuer is one of the most recognizable comedians in the business, known for his charismatic stage antics, dead-on impressions, and family-friendly stand-up. His big break came in 1995 when he joined the cast of NBC’s legendary “Saturday Night Live.” Following his success on “SNL,” Breuer starred alongside Dave Chappelle in the cult favorite film Half Baked. He has since appeared in the popular films Zookeeper, Dick, Titan A.E. and Beer League. On the small screen, Breuer hosted MTV’s popular “Beach House” and VH1’s “Web Junk 20.” His other television appearances include “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and “The Marriage Ref.” Breuer is also a frequent guest on the Howard Stern Show. Jim Breuer: Comic Frenzy is an EPIX Original Comedy Event directed by Adam Dubin and produced by Jack Gulick and Rachèle Benloulou-Dubin. Ross Bernard is the executive producer for EPIX and Valerie Bishop is the production manager for EPIX.
