Andi Dorfman
Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman is the ultimate girl’s girl, beloved by fans for her relatability and frank honesty. Millions of people tuned in to see her chosen suitor get down on one knee and propose. But in reality, her journey to find love was no bed of roses . .
When the cameras turned off and the dust (or rose petals) had settled, Andi found herself engaged to a man she’d known for barely two months. And as they endeavored to return to “normal life” (while still not allowed to reveal their relationship to anyone, since the show was still airing), they discovered that “happily ever after” wasn’t as easy as it looked. Now, in IT’S NOT OKAY: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After (Gallery Books; on-sale May 17th; Hardcover), Andi tells the unvarnished truth about her entry into the exclusive “Bachelor family,” her experience on the show, and most of all, what happened to make it all fall apart. But this is much more than the diary of a very public breakup—Andi shares her story along with some no-nonsense, straight-talking advice to other women dealing with their own romantic issues.
As the supremely relatable contestant on season 18 of The Bachelor, Andi won the hearts of millions when she dumped the star of the show after their fantasy-suite date. In It’s Not Okay, Andi tells readers everything they’d hear from their best friends—the good, the bad, and the ugly truth—so that they’ll already know what she had to learn the hard way. Whether on a reality show or behind closed doors, breakups are hard. But it’s going to be okay.
Whether you’re a rabid fan of The Bachelorette, or just someone who knows what it feels like to be in love, Andi will show you how to go from “It’s Not Okay” to “Happily (N)ever After.”
