Created and executive produced by Emmy winner/Academy Award nominee Ava DuVernay (Selma, A Wrinkle in Time), Cherish the Day follows the stirring relationship of one couple, who meet and fall in love in Los Angeles, with each episode spanning a single day over the course of five years. The compelling drama –which airs Wednesday nights on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network --unfolds to reveal significant moments in a relationship that remind us to hold true to the ones we love, from the extraordinary to the everyday.

With a career that spans over three decades, Michael Beach has established himself through the diverse, complex and captivating characters he brought to life on-screen. He recently starred as Frank Hunt in the Oscar-winning film If Beale Street Could Talk, and played high-sea hijacker
Jesse, Manta’s father, in DC Comics’ international smash hit Aquaman.

On the television front, Michael stars opposite Octavia Spencer in Apple TV Plus’s new series Truth Be Told as well as the highly anticipated DC Universe series Swamp Thing. TV fans will also recognize him for his roles in The Rookie, Animal Kingdom, Sons of Anarchy, The Black List and Third Watch to name just a few. Michael also had a three-year stint as Al Boulet in the long-running hit series ER, which allowed him to be a part of one of television’s most memorable and groundbreaking HIV/AIDS storylines.
