Hey it’s Arroe. This is
Play It Forward. A look at the
unexpected changes endured by entertainers, writers, camera people and all
others affected but not infected by the global invasion of the Coronavirus.
The goal is to feature two different types of episodes. The individual conversations as well as a
collected array of the entire picture.
Real people. Real stories. The struggle to Play It Forward.
Episode 19: Elvis Monroe Be The Change
Slowly we are reassuring ourselves that something greater will
come of this strange place in global history.
Four weeks ago who would’ve thought that every shape of entertainment would
fall from the marque outside the building. Full tours brought to a close.
Recording projects silenced. It honestly feels like the past twenty years have
been unbelievably trying for each nation but never like we’re presently
experiencing.
Bryan Hopkins and Ben Carey front the band Elvis Monroe. Two best
friends who’ve not seen each other in weeks. But it didn’t stop the music. This
is a journey of birth. The arrival of the art you know delivered to the
galleries we know. From a disaster masterpieces shall rise.
