Inspired by his mother’s Stevie Wonder records, David started writing songs in the eighth grade. He then went on to major in commercial voice and music business at Belmont University and got a first-hand look at the hard work that goes into making songs. After graduation he formed a rap-pop duo called DnK. They signed to Cobalt and toured the U.S. for two years. David eventually made his way to Los Angeles in 2016 where he is pursuing a career as a solo artist.
