Hey it’s Arroe.  This is Play It Forward.  A look at the unexpected changes endured by entertainers, writers, camera people and all others affected but not infected by the global invasion of the Coronavirus.
Real people.  Real stories.  The struggle to Play It Forward.
Episode 56: Praying For America
Been doing this for 56 days.  Had no clue it would last this long.  Maybe a week or a couple.  Nope.  I promised you back in March that I would be here with the personal journeys of the most creative people on the planet.  Those that we’re gonna need to help replant your personal seeds of creative growth during a time and age where I honestly believe we can get away with saying, “I’m just not in the mood.”
Man, if you could see this list.  I have so many untouched conversations that I’ll probably still be reporting way beyond the existence of Covid-19.
An area of life we haven’t focused on is that connected to the world of religion and spirituality.  Sometimes we totally forget how human those creative men and women are. It’s not that I’ve been reluctant.  I guess I just didn’t want a passerby to judge a book by its cover.  Which many of you might when you hear about this guy.
Dr. Robert Jeffress is the Senior Pastor of the 14,000-member First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas and a Fox News contributor. He is also a professor at Dallas Theological Seminary, and has been a go-to resource on all things faith for the President.
Dr. Jeffress preached the Inauguration Day sermon at the historic St. John's Church across from the White House that was set on fire during protests. This church and his church in Dallas were attacked during these protests-yet he believes the only lasting solution to racial and political division is prayer.
His new book, PRAYING FOR AMERICA: 40 INSPIRING STORIES AND PRAYERS FOR AMERICA encourages readers to spend 40 days asking God to do His will and to bless America.
That’s Play It Forward.  You can listen to the full conversations with these artists on three different podcasts. Like Its Live, Unplugged and Totally Uncut and View from the Writing Instrument found on all digital platforms.
