Two of the biggest features on the flat screen this weekend were written and produced to have all out theater success. The good news is that Hollywood knows where we are. At home fully aware of where to land a movie on demand and we have enough cha ching in our pockets to pay the bucks for it. Pete David as a lead in a movie? Talk about watching a kid grow up on television! From Saturday Night Live to a full feature that's pretty much about his own life. Ryan Jay talks about the film and why its a great investment for the weekend but don't go to it thinking you're getting a gut full of funny. It's a serious movie. The movie is called The King Of Staten Island. If you aren't in the mood for heavy and need something along the lines of Harry Potter meeting James Bond, I totally got that from Ryan. So credit to him. Artemis Fowl has hit Disney+. I talked with the creator of the stories this past week and totally got into how down to earth Eoin Colfer is. No wonder his books are jam backed with so much edge of your seat fun and excitement. Find out more about these films and others at ryanjayreviews.com
